Agreement
These Terms of Use are the end user licence agreement between you and Headquarters. By creating an account you accept them. They work alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the app.
What Headquarters is
Headquarters helps friends, and friends of friends, offer each other places to stay. Headquarters does not own, inspect, insure or rent any place listed. Every stay is a private arrangement between members, and no money may change hands through or because of Headquarters.
Who can join
You must be 18 or older and join through an invite from an existing member. One account per person, under your real name.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse
You must not post or send content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, discriminatory, illegal, misleading, or that invades someone's privacy, and you must not abuse, stalk, or pressure other members. Text is filtered automatically. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours, and content found to break these rules is removed. Members who post it, or who behave abusively, are removed from Headquarters.
Reporting and blocking
You can report any profile, place, ask or message, and block any member, from inside the app. Blocking makes you invisible to each other. Urgent reports hide the content right away while we review it.
Hosting and staying
Hosts choose who stays and may say no for any reason. Hosts can set house rules, and guests agree to follow them. Guests check in when they arrive and check out when they leave. You are responsible for your own safety, your home, any local rules on hosting guests, and your own insurance. If you are ever in danger, contact local emergency services first.
Host credits
Hosting earns credits and staying spends them, so the network stays fair. Credits are a thank-you, not money: they have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, cashed out or exchanged for anything, can't be moved between members except by a stay, and may be adjusted or reset by Headquarters. A host can waive credits for any guest.
Trips and sharing
A trip you share shows a city and dates, never an address, and only to the people you choose. A stay link you share shows only the city and dates of your stay, and stops working when you turn it off or the stay ends.
Your content
You own what you post. You give Headquarters a licence to store and show it to the members you share it with, only to run the service. Deleting your account deletes it.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Headquarters is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Headquarters is not liable for stays, homes, or members' conduct.
