Because it is. Follow the host's house rules, leave it as you found it, and say thank you.

Your invite is your word. If you wouldn't hand them your keys, don't invite them.
No money, ever
Headquarters is free between friends. Asking for or offering payment isn't allowed. Credits are a thank-you, never a price.
No is a complete answer
Hosts can say not this time without a reason. Guests can withdraw a request any time.
Check in, check out
Tap check in when you arrive and check out when you leave, so your host knows, and add an emergency contact before you travel.
Keep it kind
No harassment, hate, sexual content, threats or pressure, in messages or anywhere else.
Report anything that feels wrong
Report from any profile, place or message. Block to disappear from each other entirely.
